This course examines the most common reasons claims are denied and thoroughly reviews Medicare Part B and other 3rd party payer documentation guidelines for initial evaluations, re-evaluations, progress notes, daily notes, certifications/re-certifications, plan of treatment, and physician referrals.
- Identify the most common reasons for denials
- Identify reasonable and necessary criteria for skilled therapy services
- Describe and implement the necessary components of documentation to support skilled therapy services for reimbursement

NARA is looking for Vendors interested in participating in the NARA Fall 2010 Conference Vendor Fest or sponsoring events and breaks during the conference. The Vendor Fest will be held on Thursday, October 21st immediately following the conference program. As a sponsor your name and company information will be presented to attendees during the conference and provided in the attendee program. NARA conference attendees are the key decision makers of their organizations so take advantage of this opportunity. There are many levels and types of sponsor opportunities. If you are interested in being a participant or sponsoring opportunities please see the Vendor Fest/Sponsorship form. Please note Vendor Fest participation does not include the cost of attending the conference – this is a separate fee.
All NARA Membership levels must be current in order to register at member rates. Registrations can be completed by completing the registration form and faxing it to (800) 716-1847. Payment for registration is due in full with registration. NARA accepts credit card payments by using PayPal. You do not need a PayPal account, but having one will save you entering your information an additional time. No refunds or credits will be given once payment is received; however, registrations may be transferred to others within the organization.
